With an emphasis on distributed energy and waste management, biogas as an energy source is beginning to gain traction as users are increasingly finding it commercially attractive and convenient to have a readily available fuel source closer to energy demand. Many new projects have sprung up in the Philippines, converting everything from wastewater discharge from food processing to agricultural waste into an environmentally friendly, convenient fuel for a energy starved community.
The BIOGAS PHILIPPINES FORUM, (03 – 04 August 2017) brings together key stakeholders in the development of biogas in the Philippines to examine policies, frameworks and commercial contracts to make biogas investments more attractive and workable. We will also examine key technologies and practices for biogas, making the process safer, more efficient, and ultimately, more profitable for its owners and users.
